Big League/Street Team
Southern African (ZIMBABWE) based group of Music Producers, Djs, Artists, Actors, Beat-Makers. Their style of recording, mixing and mastering music is notorious for its amazing diversity and complex originality. The founding members of Street Team Sound/Street Team Productions are Tarisai Brynner Mawire (Tarry B) and Milton Matthew Kanongwah (Genius Mintol) “the brain squeeze” now known as Genius Mintol”. Whilst (Genius Mintol) has a vast experience in Beat Construction, Recording, Mixing and Mastering any and all audio material, Genius Mintol has a vast experience in turntable Dj mixing and sound engineering for live concerts. Talent Kachidza (T-Swagger), Kudzai Brett Maramba (Young Fella aka F.I.O), later joined the Street Team Sound / Productions. Street Team Sound / Productions has been involved in the music industry in Zimbabwe for the past four years.
Amongst the long list of companies and night clubs the Street Team Sound / Productions have performed for as DJ s are Circus International, Tropicana, Synergy, , Oblivion, Harpers, Flames, Sandros, Foxy s, King Solomon's, Visions, TOTT, Ignition, Uptown, Circles (Zambia), AfriPot (Mutare,Zimbabwe), Supper label (Zimbabwe), Bangers' (South Africa), News café (South Africa). Street Team Sound/Productions have performed for some International Shows which includes Kalado, Mavado, Beenie Man, Ricky Trooper, Agent Sasco, Brick n Lace. Present time Street Team Sound/Productions are the Champion Sound for the year 2014 in Zimbabwe and currently on their productions they have the riddim which is blazing on the Zimbabwe radio stations (Zi-fm and Star Fm).
Street Team Sound / Productions have worked in collaboration with Dj Coolytop of Buss It Up Productions(France),Master Bling Recording Company (Jamaica)(Powerman , Jipsy King and Little Hero) Dj Aaron (Kenya), Beatzclappin (Zimbabwe) , Crocadile (St Lucia), Pop Inc , Hater Proof Global (Cleveland, USA), Anashe Media Group, Jazmee Kalawa, Africori, Mphongo Dreams', The Management Group, Zimbabwe's National Arts Council, The censorship board of Zimbabwe, The ministry of Information in Zimbabwe, Top Face Films, Zimbabwe s national broadcaster Power FM, Motswako FM (Pretoria), Star FM, Zi-FM, YFM (S.A, JHB), Power FM (Malawi), Bashmouth Fm (South Africa) and several international stations in London (WaveYfm & BBC) and Jamaica (Irie Fm,Zip 103).
